I dont get all the hate on the new models

I guess I'm in the minority of riders that like what I saw from each manufacturer. I could find a sled from each 4 I would happily ride.
Here are my top two from each

Yamaha...either of the new gt models, especially the stx two up...I think most people missed that the viper was moved to the sidewinder body (gen 2)..and has a new front end AND a new ECU for improved performance..might be the best viper yet
For cat I'd take either of the new Riot models
Polaris...I'd take the new xc 800.(I feel this is the sleeper deal for them)..I really like that they have non rush models, with great track options...and love the colors they went with this year...they look sharp.

For ski doo...the 900 T, is a killer sled, and it's the hp sweet spot for me (and alot of riders)...it certainly has my interest, more than any ski doo has in 15 years, and I would easily by a 900 ace as a back up sled (in the enduro model)...after putting nearly 600 miles on a 900 ace tnt, I am impressed with that little sled...very fun.
What do u guys think?

I’m a 4s guy so Polaris had zero for me , Yamaha has a hole in their 4s product line between 125 and 200 hp by discontinuing the Apex, Cat is back to 2s except for the go fast Thundercat so I bought a left over 2019 Enduro 900t and I’m happy too.

I figured you would..and dont blame you...that sled is high on my list...I'm very curious how the new viper gt runs with the new ecu, in the gen 2 chassis...but not for $14,400..I'd pick up a used 900 T, or sidewinder, before I'd do that....and like I said, I'm probably gonna pick up a 900 ace enduro too (for my daughter, but I'll be riding it too)..I'm not gonna sit around and wait for an apex replacement either. I wont be buying ANY two stroke...however...I do like what polaris is doing with their lineup.

I’m pushing about 900 miles on my Enduro 900t and I have used all the different modes and have uses for all 3. Coming off my Apex xtx I figured I would punch in Sport and be done with it but Standard has been my go to mode. Easier on the arms in aggressive Twistys and I squeezed off 101 chasing my buddy on the south end of 109 on an Apex xtx. Sport has only been used on grades and long straights and will yank your arms off. Eco is great for loading and unloading avoids spinning the track also nice for stand up riding the junk less adjusting for engine breaking an acceleration smooth like a 2s. I really like the Enduro but get the ultra high adjustable windshield worth every $ to keep the wind off especially in that subzero stuff. The 3 position riser is useful too and I should have used it more. I found the front position is great for aggressive riding pulls your entire body forward for the aggressive stuff. The high position in the middle was used a lot but now prefer more forward position for me. The back position doesn’t serve me but maybe ok for a short person not sure yet if useful for me. The electric seat was toasty on cold days. The air ride is useful too to find the sweet spot in the bumpy trails. I haven’t messed with the adjustable carbides yet just wasn’t necessary with deep snow. I think you will like the Enduro 900t a lot as well as the Ace both are well thought out sleds.

whitedust, I know you put some serious miles under your Enduro since you got it. What kind of mpg's are you seeing as I know you'll be honest about it? All on non e-gas? I sure hope it satisfies your itch, and your truly happy!

I have seen 15, 18.5, 22.5, 25 using all the different modes during the mileage calculation. Once I saw the 15mpg I didn’t pay much attention to mpg really not my thing I’m more of a performance rider only check trip meter for range and always plenty of gas on my routes to the point that I don’t worry about it all with the Enduro where the Apex was iffy on range sometimes. I would add the linq tank if I thought I needed more range but just not an issue for me in Vilas or the UP.

Thanks wd, I must have been typing as you were posting. Yes, all 3 modes have there place of use. My wife's little 90 hp sleeper has woke up quite a few riders. I've heard a lot of dung before we ride, but none afterwards. In the tight twisty trails it is a ball! It's a shame, but it appears it's over for the season, eh?

Whitedust, with 900 on the new, I suspect you didn't leave me with any snow? Glad to hear you like it, may have to follow suit. Spec on spec, I like the Enduro but what set it apart from the Renegade for you?

Doug the Enduro is a Renegade but has the adjustable carbide skis vs the pilots, nice comfy electric seat with storage, the push button air shock, a mid height windshield that I upgraded to ultra high adjustable , multi function gauge ,heavy duty bumper. I found the basic Renegade seat to be hard and no storage, no electric, short windshield. The Renegade comes in at least 3 different shock versions not including the Enduro. I did upgrade the Renegade 3 position riser to my Enduro which I use a lot. That’s the basic difference all come with the ice ripper standard which I had on my Apex xtx and of course your choice of accessories with the linq system. The 900 turbo is the same across the Renegade line up. I bought local from Lando Recreation from Ben he had the black Enduro and all accessories in stock good to go. Idk it seems I’m the first to change then my buds buy the same Brand and model I think it’s called being a guinea pig. Lol.

Not for sure on this, but I don't think the Renegade Adren has the Ice Ripper std?

Would like to upgrade my '16 Renagade. Just don't understand stand Doo not letting u choose between colors. That green is hideous to me. If it was red and white like Backcountry I'd be in.
Didn't look at Polaris to closely yet but it's an option. So did they make any changes on 850?? Any verdict to all sleds that locked up early in season??

Indy may be able to reflect on the Poo 850 deal?

slimcake could reflect also, he put over 1700 miles on his I believe. It seems the issues they had were mostly in mountain sleds.

dwz posted 3200 miles on his Poo 850, in the "miles" thread. I presume untouched. Strange some went down, and others no problems?
