For those of you who live in this area I'm sure you heard about this on the news, Yesterday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. a 22 year old male's life was savagely and needlessly taken from him while he pumped gas into his car, there was no confrontation, no argument. The piece of crap walked up to him and executed him for his car which he never took because he couldn't drive stick. The 22 year old victim was a very good kid, very polite, very kind, very hard working, married, loved his family, even his dad would stop in on occasion to visit him where he worked even though he lived a distance away. I know this because he was our employee, someone who I already thought I could someday hand the business to. I miss him dearly and still find myself looking at the road across from our shop thinking he is coming in for work. For those that never got to meet him...you missed out. I ask of my fellow d'ers to please keep him, his wife and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you

This is so sad to hear. My heart goes out to you, his family, and anyone else who now has to deal with the senseless loss of this young man.

I'm so sorry. That's a horrible situation. RIP.
Sounds like that it could have been much worse if that undercover investigator didn't stop him.
Just tragic. Such a sinful world that we have to deal with.

My heartfelt condolences to his family & friends. I don't understand especially in the current day, why can't "everyone" understand that ALL LIVES MATTER...??? I hope that the pathetic perpetrator gets caught & prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Again, my condolences. -Mezz

He was already given his final sentence by an undercover officer at the next station....Thankfully.

Man I am so sorry to hear this.  Why does the saying "only the good die young" have to ring so true.  Thoughts and prayers go out to you and to the young man's family and friends.  Imagine what could have happened if not for a good guy with a gun.  What has happened to society to think that this type of thing is ok.  Or to even consider such an act.  Disgusting.

Wow very sorry to hear that if a guy like you thought he was a good kid he was. They have never released the 32 year old that shot him he was from hartland where i live would really like to hear his name to see if i knew the family guessing not cause dont know many of those types of people. Really sorry for your loss euphoric1. RIP

As others have said this is pretty sad and I feel for all that are touched by this. Our thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.

sorry to hear about this<br>&nbsp;my condolences for his family and friends<br><br>&nbsp;I hope who ever did this get punished properly,!<br><br>&nbsp;people that do crimes like this should be put down&nbsp; and never forgiven, ! IMO!
