Yes, the kids asked if they could use the driveway as a slippery slide. I said no because one they'd faceplant into the silo at the bottom. Two they'd all get sick on me and that's not a reward I need.

It didn't quite make it to 40 and the sun wasn't out today, but our snow took a hit! It's pure slush underneath a foot of snow.

The Black Hills snow will come fast, and go away fast. 38 Fri, and 40's there after. Seems that's always the way out there anymore? Sucks!

I don't think it is quite over yet in the Grand Forks area, we had a high of 35 yesterday, our first high above freezing since 1/7, but it is in the 20s today and we are in a blizzard warning for tonight through Friday morning, the NWS is calling for 9 to 15 inches for us along with winds gusting to 60 mph. I will post what happens maybe tomorrow

My son and I just went for a little ride north of Hancock and the off trail is amazing.

I was worried that with the recent thaw and lack of thaws during this winter we were going to sink to China but it's amazing out there.

What I find funny is the people saying the trails will be fine after this(I’m talking Hayward-Sawyer county area) yeah they will be fine but how are you going to keep your sled cool when the trails are a ice rink? My driveway is a rink already but there’s a 3” base underneath.
