i used this guy a few times in winter and summer
no BS he puts u on fish all day long one after another
only trouble is u have to book him months in advance
hit him up in august for next year you wont be disappointed
no fish no pay this guy is the real deal
i usually do the presque isle chain
but im sure he would do mani waters if thats where u want to go
Thanks for the information. I'll keep him in mind for next year. Trying to find someone for this February. Just a few hours for my boy and myself. A second on John Andrews. We've known him for years, a good friend and lives close to us. He has shacks on Van Vliet every year, plus a couple other lakes. Last I knew he was completely booked this season but he does have people cancel once in a while so you might still call him.
If you can book him do his shore lunch. Its a good lunch and a throwback to the old days of guiding. A real experience for kids.
