Only way I run fast on the ice is to run it first slow and after ensuring its safe turn around and bury that needle on the return trip

Nice pic, Still the #1 places for chaos in my book , are lakes & roads. We have had more complications on lakes ( esp Gogebic ) that almost anywhere else.

Missed seeing that last friday on Lake Gogebic, their was a small heave by the shore @ the Fisherman and just South of the Gogebic lodge. Beside the whiteout conditions leaving the hoop friday afternoon the lake was excellant.
