Ice removal off sled trailer roof

Well I got behind on removing snow off the trailer roof and now have some ice build up on it. Opening myself up to all kinds of comments here, but here it goes. Anyone have a working method of removing it that is quicker than dumping tons of heat into it? It is a a little to thick for the old rope trick and not sure I want to start tapping on it to break it up.

I always raked mine was an inline not clamshell or hybrid.

Really the best thing at this point short of getting it into a heated garage is heating the inside of the trailer so you can pull the snow & ice off. Don't try tapping on it, you'll end up causing damage. You will for sure want that load off of there before you venture down the road with it. Good luck.

thanks for the words on the issue. Going to take a 80,000 btu heater and see what I can get done. doubt the car wash places will be open this coming wkend with the forecast. Phelps is the closet town, don't think I want to trailer any further than that with it the way it is.
