Duraflex. Kick up good snow and reverse compatible. Don't go with the others, I was just on a trip with some guys and they had to keep stopping to put theirs up/ down. pain in the butt.

I have used the duraflex for a few years and am happy with them. But for some reason I lost 4 of them on two sleds while riding last weekend. They did not disappear all at once so no one took them off intentionally. Has anyone else had problems with them falling off?

I use Redneck Scratchers made by Midnight Sun Mfg out of Idaho. The left hand scratcher uses left hand thread in the attaching so it does not back off. They work real good . They are on Facebook, Ebay, and the web. They should get on this site as an advertiser

Never an issue and I've run them hard...not shy at all about using them. Do you use RED Loctite on the threads?

Duraflex with loctite. The only issue I have is I wanted one side to be left hand thread. I will be looking at the redneck ones

just like mentioned above, duraflex and loctite. I also always keep mine down, minus loading the sled. I store my sled with them down also so hopefully they keep more down pressure. Never had an issue with them.

I just ordered me a set of Ice Storm ski scratchers, should be here tomorrow. Can't wait to see how they work.

Duraflex. I have them on my high country, and they work really well and throw a lot of snow into the tunnel. I too run them down always when on the trail.

I like the cable style. 30 degree diff on temp gauge esp on set up groomed trail.I think they def extend hi fax life. on a side note=I only run one on my sled and it broke mid cable....my buddy and I think it may have gotten caught in the Houghton lift bridge grate,so I will try to raise it from now on when crossing without mat down
