Important Info if purchasing Polaris Gripper Skis

If you purchase Gripper skis from polaris from their parts dept., they come as a replacement part. You get only the ski for $160. If you purchase through their accessories catalog they are $129 and come with the ski loop. No it doesn't make any sense. My buddy found this out the hard way. Just a heads up!

What are Gripper skis? Are these the Polaris mountain skis? Do they have any advantages on the trail compare to the regular IQ skis? I see them for sale quite a bit on other sites and if priced reasonably, they seem to sell quickly. Just wondering, as I've looked for some used IQ skis for sale, and I never seen to find them, but I do see the Grippers quite a bit.

Yes, they are the Mountain skis. The ones on the RMK's. They are wider. They hold a carbide skag just like any other ski. The keel may not be the same though.

Deeper upper and lower keel design allows for the best performing ski in loose and hardpacked snow conditions
Integrated traction on top of ski for superior grip.
Deep, 1 1/2" keel for positive steering in loose snow. Wide, 6 3/4" ski for increased floatation.
