Bergstrom does a really good job explaining and helping control issue. As stated, theres a lot of factors for darting but shimming and triple points, along with adjusting my shocks, really helped out a bunch. My last triple points lasted several seasons, there expensive but yearly costs seems to average out in my case. I called on a tuesday afternoon, they were sitting on my doorstep wednesday morning. great customer service.

1/8" toe OUT is preferred

any amount of toe -in will cause erratic handling (2" toe out, better than 1/4" toe- in as an example)

This is the first place to go for a darting issue.

Back to the subject, I did get a chance to ride a new Axys on rough trails for a couple miles. WOW, ate up the bumps like I would have never thought. I know there is a big difference from my sled ('08 Switchback) to the new, but still, WOW. Felt bad for the guy on my '08 so I had to give it back quickly. He was falling back in a hurry, and I wasn't even trying to ride fast.

My wife has 1700 miles on her AYXS 800 Switchback. We had the same problems most all of the other AYXS owners had. One of the wire harness plugs was not connected properly and it was throwing lots of error codes. The fix was plugging it back together. There is chafing on the rear hoses going to the heat exchangers. Fix was attaching a rubber guard to them. The motor needed new spark plugs after the break-in period. It gets the exact same gas millage as a 800 2014 Renegade E-Tec we ride with. It uses more oil then the E-tec. Suspension adjustments are not as sensitive as the previous Rushes. It was darting but we fixed the problem with just suspension adjustments and stock wear rods. A recent compression test showed the same as when it was new. Talked with another 800 AYXS owner with 2500 miles on his with no motor issues yet. I think Polaris has finally figured out the 800 durability issues.
