I slipped up. I wanted to post the following on Friday which was National Dog Day. You can read about it here https://www.nationaldogday.com/

Maggie's Donut.jpg
Here's a picture of my Brown Eyed Girl, Maggie. Just had some surgery to remove a growth on her side. Nothing cancerous but it left a pretty good incision. The wife didn't want to put her in the Cone of Shame and the vet came up with this inflatable donut until everything heals. It worked pretty good, it's light and doesn't restrict her movement like a cone would. After a day or so she got to be comfortable with it. There's different sizes depending on the breed of dog. In Maggie's case she's a cross between a Terrier and a Yellow Lab. Rescued almost 7 years ago. Pictures of your Fur Buddy would be welcomed....

Gary, I'm glad your little girl is doing okay. Our neighbor's dog had one of those inflatable rings as well...seems to be much better than the cone!

Above picture is my newly adopted Ria from United Doberman Rescue and Canine Castaways of MN . My past Dobe Skye was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma a year ago and we saw an oncologist who put her on at home chemo pills, she went in remission in 3 months. Then at her oncology appt end of April she had developed a lump on rib which was chondrosacoma and had already spread it lungs. She was great til first week in June and had to make the decision , she had turned 12 in Feb and never missed a beat through all this. So my days are busy with baby shark!
