Indy vs IQ chassis

How much difference is there between the Indy and the IQ chassis? I am probably a year away from upgrading but tempted by the deals I see on the Indy's. I think the rear suspension and the motor (600) are similar. Is the front suspension much different? I haven't even sat on an Indy yet - is the seating position any different? It would be nice if it sat just a couple inches higher for the transition from sitting down to standing up. One of the guys I ride with has a newer Cat and I like that a lot, but those 600's are still high priced.

The indy makes me giggle

I bought a new 2014 Indy 600 SP prior to last season and put on @1,000 of the most fun miles in my 20+ years of riding. Literally found myself giggling at times because I was having so much fun. Granted I upgraded from a 1998 XC 700 that I loved but I've ridden all Polaris chassis up through the IQ yet I feel the combination of fun and level of investment makes the Indy a super deal!

I should add that a buddy, riding an 2011 IQ, made the jump to a 2015 Indy 600 SP this season because of riding my Indy and also finding himself giggling like a fool.

Go with the Indy, they handle much better than the IQ and for normal trail riding they ride just as good as a Rush. JMHO

I like the indy too. I had to rent a sled for guests a few weeks ago and by chance got a new Indy 600. I ended up riding it all weekend. It felt totally planted, but I could lift the front end any time I wanted with a little gas and body shift. Haven't had that much fun on a sled since my '77 Exciter.

Go with a 2007 IQ. Tighten down the front shocks, and you will love it. If you're tall, get a riser. Great riding sled. I've had three. Best trail sled and good for the occasional off trail rider.
