Installing grip heaters on a 1980 enticer

my kid loves this sled but when we go out for long rides his hands get cold and we sometimes have to cut the ride short. anyone ever put heat grips on one of these and where would you hook it up and can the alternator handle them thanks

I dont know if the stator could handel it or not.but if I was unsure I would go with a small battery wire from stator to battery and battery to warmers. then even if stator cant keep up you can trickel the battery from time to time

Get some gauntlets for the handlebars. Inexpensive alternative to try. Or maybe some powermadd handguards with a good quality glove.

Yea i was thinking the gauntlet path too but Ezras idea sounds doable too thanks for the feedback have to think about this one

I used to have a set of Hot Grips on my Enticer 250, they worked fine.

We also put a set of Hot Grips on a 1980 250 Bravo last year. They get the handle bars warm but not hot.
