I've done it, but I don't remember the miles. With good conditions you should be able to doo it in a day. East to Clam Lake, so. to the Tascobia Trail and then no. to Mercer is the quickest, maybe not the most direct.
I have to amend my original answer to this thread. I was thinking Iron River, Mich. I have not done Iron River ,Wis although I have done St. Germain to Cable in a day. With plenty of daylite left. So I think you can do Iron River to Mercer in a day. It all depends on trail conditions right now I would say tuff.
