If you are in Iron River WI and don't know the trails or want info of places to stay, contact me. I am the Vice President of our local club and my husband grooms our trails. We are both retired, moved here from IA ( yes, where in IA the trails are corn fields and ditch riding, been there, done that!) As of this date, we have the best snow and trails and the most friendly people you could ever meet.

I don't think she can answer your question Whitedust as this post is about Iron River Wisconsin rather than Iron River Michigan.

I agree

Too bad...trails in Bayfield & Douglas Cty's are flat and devoid of riders....unlike most areas of the UP and Vilas Cty.

I rode last night north to Port Wing and probably only met 3 groups. Met noone on the way back. Trails had been groomed 2 days prior and were still in great shape. Port Wing doesn't have as much snow as Iron River WI, but more on the way today!! Yippee!!
