Actually, I was wanting to take the high road and keep the reason private, but since you, Dave, have brought it out into the public, here goes. I received this private message (pic below). I have blanked out the person who sent it to me to protect them, but will say that this is not the first time PR1 did this. A couple others have sent me PM's that they got with a similar nature to them and a few times PR1 hit the respond button in his e mail program and did not click on the link to respond via the PM feature of the board. So when someone responds to a PM notification from the board, it gets sent back to the board admin, which is me. So PR1 was sending derogatory things about me, to me!
I guess after the 5th or 6th time of knowing (only he knows how many other times it happened) it happened. I decided to call him out on it. He evidently decided to stop posting and must have "miss-informed" Dave_B on what went down.

I'll be the first one to admit/agree that he is no saint, who here is but, if he's not "banned" and, you wanted to "keep the reason private", (reason for...?), why can he no longer access the Discussion Board? Call it what you want but, it sounds like banned to me.
And yes, he did tell me about the PM thing, and the comments that he made. Right or wrong, it wasn't part of "public" forum. What goes on outside the forum should have no impact on a posters ability to post or access the forum, in my opinion.

I do not know why he cannot access the board. I have done nothing to prevent that at my end. His last post was last week (the 17th at 5:19). I am not sure where it was, but anyone with time could find it and see that is profile status does not say banned.
I was keeping it private because it was private and did not want to air the "dirty laundry" of someone. Your post made the situation public, so I did what I did to make it clear what had happened.
I agree, as long as someone is not breaking the rules of the board, they should not be banned and that has happened to everyone since the start of the board.
I cannot see private messages sent between parties on the board, they are private. His message was sent via e mail to me by the person he sent it to, so that I could see what he had done. Normally I would not have even bothered to keep the e mail, but a little birdie told me it might be a good idea to hang onto that one and that birdie turned out to be right.
I have no interest in judging his character. Only to set the record straight.

Correction. His last post was Feb 8, his last activity was on the 17th. I believe I privately made him aware of the fact I knew about some of the PM's he had made speaking poorly of me on the 17th.

Couple years ago I was put in a time out on this board for basically calling out PR1 and telling him in not such nice of terms to go pound sand. Looking back at this now I should of been commended not suspended.
