I'll give it another 10 days for Vilas County WI trails to recover but does not look good now or JD's long range forecast for a big snow. Thinking most Vilas Trails will be soupy this weekend. Trail closures are creeping ever closer Lincoln County closed yesterday so we are at about Hyw 8 now. Don't remember Vilas County trails closing before April 1st but this has been a tuff year.

I'd have to say the Fat lady has sung, in my area the sun just KILLED the snow today. we got just about nothing left and it's supposed to be 45 degrees this whole weekend.

On my walk today I saw a Robin!!! that made me sad.
I think this is the earliest I have ever seen one in my area(southern WI)
thats a big sign for me...thats the fat lady singing :(
hope its just a fluke!

But just North of Green Bay,....
The FAT LADY along with her TWO sisters and a Cousin,...
Are singing in harmony.
I usually get so bummed,...when it starts to warm up,..
STILL hoping for one last Big dumping and groomed trails,....
But with Above normal temps here all Feb,.. and in the 40's
the past week,.. with even warmer temps ahead,....
All a big dumping HERE will do,... is make a mess now.

God save the Keweenaw!

Watching a robin outside my window as I type this.
Hope next year us "down here" get pounded from Nov thru April!

Were headed for the woods one more time. I know we will be able to ride. The trick is can you get your truck out of the muddy parking lot when your done riding?

Fat lady has sung here in northern Ohio and she's heading north. We had a great time banging the ditches and fields the last two weeks, but temps are going to be in the mid 40s all next week. Time to get the boat ready.

Added seafoam to gas and probably took my last ride around a friends field today:( very bummed!!
