We wanna make a 109-3-8 loop.

parking

I don't think much is going on Sidnaw these days, park on the side of the road and go sledding !!!!

There are plenty of places to park.

Stop at the gas station and see if they will let you park behind the store
Park at the old resturant. It's closed now
Park down by the old school

Wherever you park, DO NOT ride on the airfield!! They have spent a ton of money fixing it up and they don't want anybody on it.

Not really anyplace in Kenton unless you know someone.

Best bet, for all, is to park in Bruce Crossing behind the grocery store. There is a park there that alot of people use to park and ride in the winter. It's right on the trail and you can head in just about every direction.

Thanks a zillion guys!

DaveB: Can we get to 9 without riding on the airfield? If so about how far a ride is it to 9?

(May have to drive farther to BC)

I assume you mean trail 8 and yes you can. Trail 8 runs right through the parking lot of the gas station to head north to 109. Your best bet, however, is to take 8 to 109 to 12 to get to trail 3. 109 from Twin Lakes south is a rough go until the swamps freeze and they get ALOT of snow and I don't think it's there yet.

Good luck and again, to everyone, DO NOT ride on the airfield!

WOW you are quick!

(You are correct 8 NOT 9)

We will take 12......... How is 13? We might head North on 3 to 13 and add that to the "loop".

I didn't do the 13 loop but it should be OK after the new snow.

Someone else may want to pipe in the that.

We rode thru there on Tuesday and the trails were very good to excellent with just a few bare patches. As trail
8/15 heads north after gas station we saw 2 trucks with ramps on the side of trail as it goes away from highway. We stayed in Mass City and that loop was as good as any. We stayed away from Bergland and never went north of Twin Lakes. The swamp area on 109 was frozen as of Tuesday when we went by with just a couple of dirty areas. Trail 13 was excellent on the top some snirty and rocky areas as you near the lake ( halfway around) and better as you near Greenland. We did this loop on Sunday AM and Monday PM.
