On m26 between Lake Linden and Calumet, specifically and ironically called Florida Location, there is a very deep gully next to the highway and I have seen snow there a few times in July.
Maybe off topic... I used to do snow removal in Chicago. We pushed the snow from the top level of a parking structure to the north side, then dropped it over the side. When winter was over, the pile would be heavily compacted (obviously) and HUGE. Being in a ravine twenty feet below grade, the snow never saw direct sunlight. They still have contests to guess the date when the "glacier" finally melts. Usually sometime in July. By sultry mid June, its the most popular place to sneak out for a cigarette.
