It's still ok down there, in the best part of town..if it's before 7pm. I hear??
Nope. I have a friend that's still a cop on the job and he starts at 6 am. A couple of weeks ago the hoodies tried to carjack him on the way to work. He drives a Silverado p/u. Nothing really special but obviously they wanted it. They boxed him at a light. He said he ran numerous lights trying to evade them and they didn't give up until he pulled into the police station lot. He grabbed plates off of the jackers cars and suprise, suprise, they were stolen. So now he rides his bike to work in summer and you got it, he comes around a corner on way to work and here is a crew cutting the catalytic convertor off of a car with a lookout guarding with an extended magazine semi-automatic pistol. He turned around, took cover by a parked car and called 911. Sirens responding caused their departure but not before they got the convertor.

After reading the above, I am grateful to be living where I do. A 100 acre cornfield to the east of me, a 20 acre soybean field to the south, a swamp to the west and a small creek to the north.

Assuming you still have the antique Farmall, it sounds like you have plenty of dirt to play around in.🤠

I hear you BigSix, Me as well, I live on a point with lake on 3 sides and only one way on and one way off the point. Of course it's the Northwoods so we feel pretty isolated up from that behavior up here. At my age I'm done with dealing with that kind of behavior, sorry for anyone that has to put up with it.

I come on to the SMILE section for a little levity from all the strife in this world.

I ask again as I did before, why aren't these discussions in the BARSTOOL section ?

Don,
I monitor everything that's posted and I don't have an answer as to why posts drift, but they do. I must admit that I've been guilty myself of getting off-topic on some posts. John would prefer that we police ourselves and for the most part it's worked well. I can count on one hand the number of threads that I've deleted or moved. Thus far, there is no rule as to "staying on topic". I will say that the subject matter of the Barstool is unique and there is a gray area when subject matter drifts to other forums. I hope this answers your question and thanks for posting.
