I'm 20 mins north of the city and could not open back storm door to let dogs out. There is about a 3 foot drift in front of it.

Stack that would be way cool to run down LSD on sled.

To bad my sleds are all north at this present time.

Yep,

no joke. In 12 to 24 this morning. Got 1.5 of sleet. What a joke. However I bet they set the salt spread record down here today. Our local forecasters blow every winter storm out of proportion. Yesterday it was quote. " be the storm of the century. Worse than the blizzard of 82." whatever

I guess thats what we get for listening to the locals. John had it closer to what actually happened. WHEN WILL WE LEARN.
The good news is John has another storm possible for Monday.

Northwest Chicago suburbs. Can't even see the house across the culdesac right now. West side of the house winds are out of the north, east side winds are out of the south, crazy.

The snow blowing under the door seal in the garage has created drifts as high as the bumper of the truck and the hood of the riding mower. Tomorrow, I get to shovel out the inside of the garage, yeah!

And, Thursday morning we leave all this snow here to head to the Ride-In. Ah well, something sweet to come back to
