This is what happens when you let kids play unsupervised. I think I have this right now.

I've always been a little curious about the age demographics of the John Dee membership and if there are reasons why it might be moving in one direction or the other.

I have my suspicions about how this might end up but I'm not saying.

I was looking for the "Too young to know any better, but too old to change" voting option.

Or maybe the "Geeze it sucks getting old" option!

Funny!.... It did cross my mind but then I figured I'd have to allow voting for multiple categories since many people, including myself, might qualify for more than one option.

BTW, feel free to delete the "false start" thread. Thanks.

I have a few thought but I will wait to post until the polls close. One thing I would say is I you should follow up with how many years have you been on/around the site too.

John both of your options had me laughing!

LOL, It does suck getting old, but, I would rather be old than not here. The view from this side of the sod is better!-Mezz

So far this is looking a little different than I would have predicted. I'm sure the networks would have declared a projected outcome by now. It will interesting to see what it looks like after the weekend.

wags, did you get your vote squared away? We can't have any "hanging chads".

I am wondering about the comment "moving in one direction or the other". Hopefully you realize you can't younger :). Then again, if we have body parts replaced, can we "average" our age for the new and old stuff...

I can relate to that!

You got that right!

Nothing wrong with living at a more Geezerly pace.
I sure have been doing that for the past two years (since the cardiac arrest in August 2009)! And the severely arthritic hip discovered (ouch) during the cardiac therapy.

Hey, that should work. Talk to me after my total hip replacement next month!

skiroule, what were you thinking it was gonna look like?

I'm sure it would be very different if you posted this poll when there was snow on the ground!!

I almost checked the wrong box yesterday because I keep forgetting how old I am now?!

I thought there would be more in the 20-29 range. Perhaps that's more the HCS crowd. I graduated from that group not too long ago, but that was when I had more time for sleds (before kids showed up).

<29

I sure do see a lot of <29 out on the trails.

Thanks to this poll I now know why all those threads on staying right, passing, hand signals, etc... keep happenning. Their not on this board reading them.

Would this be an accurate statement or too sterotyped?

WTG (and others): Voting was surprisingly active today so I'm still holding all my cards.

I will admit to having a somewhat geeky interest in statistics and probability. I'm not sure why but it could go all the way back to high school. More than one frustrated teacher on more than one occasion said " Mr. Roule...9 out of 10 of your classmates will be more successful than you." Looking back, I think there's an 80% chance they were right.

Participation has been excellent! keep em' coming.
