Jacket at rogers bar.west of watersmeet

Someone at Rogers Bar in Watersmeet took my friends jacket by accident last night. They took his and left theirs .It was the exact same jacket but the only problem is that the one he left is a lot smaller. Anyone know about this please call me at 920-378-2911. Hopefully we can do a swap. thanks

I hope this works out for you, that's too bad. How were trails that far south and how is the new sled running or you? I love Rogers Bar, but snow can get very thin down there.

Hmmm, so someone walked out with a jacket that didn't fit??? I hope this ends well, but I have my doubts

Mark, I wasnt up North yet my buddy called on their way back. Have a little over 800 on the 800 on our home trails and so far glitch free , that thing fricken rocks and is alot of fun. Cant wait to get it on the UP trails . He said the grade from south end of Lake Gogebic towards Watersmeet pretty thin but wont take much more to get the rocks covered. Leaving Wednesday for 11 days and cant fricken wait.

So what your saying is the guys coat was maybe a little tight and maybe He ate a little too much and tried on the wrong guy's coat, and the guy felt like "hey maybe I lost a little weight" when he left with the bigger coat on? ha ha
Good luck! see if the bar an put up a note on there wall about it might help!
Hopefully its big enough for the guy to notice!

Even when at a bar having good time I keep an eye on our gear and watch each group as they leave I've seen it happen

Coat hangs on my chair.... helmet on the extra chair at our table or under my chair .... Don't let our stuff out of sight.

A couple of years ago on our annual Kids trip we were at the Black Oak, somebody took our Kids Helmet and gloves and left an Adult size Large Helmet and gloves. The helmet that was left was very similar to ours, we took it after checking with the rest of the people in the bar to ensure it didn't belong to anybody, we left our name and number just in case. never got a call.

When I was a kid in the '70s we put our names on all our helmets so we could easily tell them apart. We still do it today as a tradition. And although it didn't prevent the last guy from attempting to run off with my helmet at a pit stop, when I caught him at the door and said "Hey Dave where you going!" He turned and replied with an attitude, "I'm not Dave". Then I said, "Then put my Dang helmet back and learn to read!"

That just made my day Team Elkhorn
I know I posted this story before, but the bartender offered to pay our tab when it happened.:D
Apparently he and the helmet snatcher were related or something. He looked like he was up to no good so we were keeping an eye on him and our stuff from the moment he walked through the door. It was almost funny when he grabbed my new helmet. "Oh no he didn't".....:D

Anybody with any info on this ? Dont need any unasked for advice.Hes been riding for 30 years without issues ,so thanks but just wants his coat back
