January Thaw

Local forecasters are calling for a January thaw towards the end of Jan in the twin cities metro. John has not mentioned anything like that yet, hope he doesn't. The last time we had a thaw he was the first to mention while the others were saying snow. Hope he right again and they are wrong like usually.

Everyone should read the following quote from John. Then take a deep breath.

"All weather forecasting involves a percentage of guessing. A forecast for the next 24-48 hours might be 90% science and 10% guesswork, and by the time you are trying to forecast for days 7, 8, 9 and 10, the percentages might be more like 50% science and 50% guesswork. "

So......does that mean that the 10 year "global warming" forecasts are 1% science and 99% guesswork (or better yet, BS)?
