Who in their right mind would want that cancer on their team? Someone will have to be very desperate to sign him. Kapernick may even be signed before him! LOL

If you think about it logically many teams could use him. He has never been in trouble on or off the field, is not an attention seeker like some of the yo-yo's, while their are reports he didn't get along with everyone(but who does) I don't think cancer would be a good word. A cancer is johnny manziel, T-O, or even Brandon marshall come to mind.

in a WORLD of only a few elite QBs, jay cutler at times played at an elite level, al be it usually for short bursts, I still think coaches/GMs think they can get more prolonged windows of that success. Either way I can think of many worse options especially if the team had a defense and oline already in place. A team like Houston or the cardinals. even Minnesota IMO would be much better off than sam 'I cant thro 15+ yards downfield' Bradford.

It does crack me up at how much some hate jay cutler for mostly his body language haha

But given he is done and going to be announcing games and probably some bears games, I am looking forward in the future to hearing him say 'TOUCHDOWN MITCH TRUBISKY'

He won't be in the booth very long. Somebody will get injured and he will once again be employed as an NFL QB. And he will once again look really good at times but will do something stupid when it matters most. 20 cyber bucks says he will be throwing interceptions by week 9.

Unfortunatly that is Cutler's history with Da Bears. One week he looks like an all world QB plays really well then the next week he stinks ends up at 500 with the Bears and missed soooo many games with injuries. If a contender QB goes down Cutler is the logical choice no motivation to play for any team less than a contender the body and brain beating not worth it for Jay at this point just for big QB money. Cutler would luv to go out on his terms after a very good year. Ends now he is a bust after Chicago big money and 500 record = big mistake and fans goat. Difficult for any QB to go out like that.... I say he plays if it makes sense to go out on his terms. Bottom line good for the Bears to have new QB competition bad for Cutler but he knew what was coming ...no surprises.

I think the only chance he plays is if a really good opportunity came up with a really good team. otherwise he doesn't want to play anymore if he is gona be surrounded by o lines and defenses that wont help him out

You forget about the money. How much are they paying Glennon?????? There are just not that many human beings that have all the tools to be an NFL QB. I think you have said something to that effect yourself somewhere. If a qb goes down on just about any team midway through the season there will be some crazy money thrown around. Look no further than the Vikes last year. Money AND a #1 draft! Strange things happen. Stupid things happen. And again it won't matter anyway. New England is still going to win the next 3 Superbowls.

It will be interesting to see how the season/broadcasting works out. By the end of each NFL season there is roughly 30% of the league is made up of undrafted players. In a league with such high injuries anything can happen. Cutler back on the field.....i definitely wont say no. No doubt about it, the NFL has a quarterback talent deficiency problem and teams will take chances to fill that void. I would be interested to see what Cutler could actually do on a talented team.

I don't think cutler cares too much about the money, he is loaded and making good money in booth along with his wife who also rakes it in.

I would bet unless a really good team wants him, he will not be playing ever again

Going too a team mid-season is almost certain failure. he wont be in playing shape and have no continuity with the playbook or players.....not good for him or team.

Only time will tell I guess. I guess either way Cutler is way better of than Kapernik. Or however you spell it. He really is poison. There is no way any network would ever consider hiring him for anything at all. And his football skills are so diminished I can't believe he will ever play again even if he wanted to.

Yep if a contender QB goes down preseason is the time to get a replacement #1 if #2 QB has limited talent. #2s are meant to win a couple until #1 returns. It would be interesting to see Cutler play with a contender simular to what happend with Bridgewater last year. Early reports on Bridgewater's leg are not good very disappointing to hear he has nerve damage just running around in practice and such a young promising QB ....crazy sport.

Collin K NOT going to be welcome on a blue collar team he will booed to the max and who needs that distraction? He really is NOT a pocket QB needs the run and gun spread O and a NFL Qb will get killed running that O. IDK he maybe done unless Jim H comes back as an NFL coach with the spread.

As a Packer fan , I am enjoying the fact that I don't need to worry about this pathetic Bears drama.

What happens if mitch turns out to be GOAT, and Rodgers and Thompson, and McCarthy retire after this season....we could be a 30 year chitshow like the bears.......

Seems to happen to all NFL teams sooner of later then the long rebuild back to be a contender. The 49s were great for many years so was Oakland then they slowly slipped to the cellar now Oakland looks very good and 49ers seemed to have an excellent draft this year but need NFL experience. What BB and Pats have done is unreal and amazing makes the Pack also rans always a bridesmaid never a bride. 2017 Bears are more new FAs and Draftees than old hand me down players as Pace has been signing FAs to 1 year contracts like handing out free tickets...lol.. This approach makes this Bears team a wild card dark horse....could stink or play well ...no way to know until they play. Me ...I have no idea how this Bears team will perform but if really bad...no improvement...both Pace and Fox will be fired.

I don't see pace being fired until trubisky is a confirmed bust

- - - Updated - - -

but it would be bears like to over react and fire pace, then trubisky ends up being a stud and ryan pace goes onto being a HOF type front office person with someone else.

Yeah this is why they play the games in the NFL....lol. Who knows how good or bad the Bears will be this season? Trubisky will do his thing the best he can do same with Glennon. If the Bears go 0-6 Chicago fans will not be happy ticket values dip sell for $20... lots of empty seats, little interest. Whatever will be will be but winning would help a lot! lol.
