Pictures from the Ride In and the rides we took follow. Also included in here is a link to the YouTube video of Big Vin's performance at the banquet.
After passing many a snow bank on our way up - we made it to the Ramada!! Sleds intact - gear dry - we are set!
Got checked in, got our rooms and the next thing we knew - it was time for a "Hall Party¨
Next thing you know - we're hanging out in the pool/hot tub and then it's off to the bar! The boys went riding - but alas I don't have any pictures from it since I had the camera! LOL
OK - Friday morning we're getting ready to head out ~ Scott's going to Dan's Polaris to have them fix "the sled¨ . So we're warming our sleds and I look to my left and UH OH! Already a dead sled? Doug are those extra parts? Refer back to Juls story I can't remember exactly what happened but there were pieces all over the snow from Doug's sled!!!
About ready to head out here's Ali and her Jr Sled Chick - McKenzie is ready to ride!
We headed south and stopped at the Parkview for lunch. We picked a good spot cause everyone caught up there! Scott made it, and then came the Campbell crew!
We even ran into Skylar there!
We left there and Will was kind enough to let me take his sled and I'm now in love! (with his sled not Will - geez Eric! LOL) I am now ready to make the jump to Yamaha and a 4 stroke! We only missed 1 "stamp¨ on our poker run on Friday but we had a good time anyway! Ah yes on the way back small mishap time to fix "The Sled¨ again ~ Scott. LOL Whew! It was only a belt!
While waiting I just had to snap a shot of the beautiful trails!
Back to the hotel to the hot tub! AHH! (nope not posting pics of that!)
Then off to the bar again and Hey it's PropJockey and crew! That was too much fun! It was awesome to meet and party with you Prop! We'll have to do that again sometime!
Saturday we headed north and ran into Vanville's to get our "stamp¨. Here's a very cute Jr Sled Chick wondering when we're gonna hit the trails again!
On to riding and not soon after freezing rain/sleet. I must have stopped every couple of miles I couldn't see a thing nothing but frozen lens! So we called it quits shortly after lunch and headed back to get ready for the banquet.
Once at the banquet we met even more folks and had a wonderful time! The food was great, the entertainment was the best you could have asked for! Here are a few pictures:
