Jet ski puked this out, What is it?

I was fogging my 1996 Sea doo spx 650 today and it was a little hard starting but when i got it started it ran fine and then i hit the throttle and it spit this crap out the back of the exhaust. What in the world is it? it only did it the one time when i first hit the gas it kinda felt like some sort of grease but im not sure what it really was??

That is called fogging oil and water. I had this happen with our Kawasaki 1100 triple. I was standing in front of the exhaust when it came out. Not pretty, I was at my boat storage unit 1 hr. drive from home. Wore the mess home. Found out later one of my kids sunk the jet ski and it had water in the lower end of motor. Needless to say I traded it off (worried about crank bearings).

But it should not have had any fogging oil in it, i rode it this summer and cleaned all of it out. I only put in fuel sta-bill and ran the skii for about 10 minutes for the stabill to go thru the lines and then i added the fogging oil, there should not have been any fogging oil in there yet?/

It is oil and water. You stated that you was fogging your motor when this happened. It may not be the fogging oil, but it is oil and water mixed. Mix up a batch in a bucket in the garage and then report back.

If memory serves me correct you have a rotary valve motor. You may want to check a couple things. 1st. Check your oil injection cable to make it is not broken and the control arm is stuck wide open. 2nd check your oil tank and see if it is way down. The oil seal in the rotary valve/ water pump may have failed dumping extra oil into the cooling exhaust system. It looks like you have unburnt oil mixed with water.

Did you try and hook up the garden hose when trying to run the motor out of the water?If so you put water in the motor.If not then you have something that is letting water in the crank case,a bad head gasket,cylinder base gasket,water pump seal,broken exhaust pipe,broken cylinder.If you leave this moisture in the crank case for very long it will start to put rust on the crank(not good ).Bottom line,you have water that entered the motor somehow.

That is oil & water for sure. Water is in engine somewhere usually thru carbs. You need to figure this out or bang pop blown engine. This is why I would NEVER purchase a used PWC as happens all the time.

There are 2 check valves on the oil pump, one of them or both are letting oil thru them when machine is sitting for awhile. The check valves aren't to bad in price, I think 15 bucks a piece, I repalce them all the time on the older seadoos and it cures the problem. could also be a center crank seal or rotary valve seal but 9 out of 10 times the check valves.
