I just purchased a 2002 Sea Doo Gtx with a 2 stroke motor something like 991 cc. I didn't get any sort of manual on it but I did notice a fresh water flush port on the back. Do you think I can rig up a hose and flush RV antifreeze through it and that should do it. I will sta bil the gas and fog the motor of course, I just figured this would be super easy. let me know your thoughts

That's all you need to do. If it doesn't draw the AntiFreeze by vacum, hold the container and hose above the level of the engine while it's running and let gravity do the rest. As soon as it exits from the exhaust, you're done.

BTW Should be great weather next week in Minnesota for PWC's. 90 degrees plus and 10,000 lakes!

There is a grease sert on that thing. If you take the seat off, Right at the rear of the motor there is a plastic cover held on by two plastic wing nuts. take that off and there is a grease zert under it. also, there is a 80/90 type grease that is inside the rear propeller housing that needs to be changed once a year or so. Gets neglected alot..

Thanks guys, Mike is the 80/90 grease just normal grease in a tube, how do I get to it. Is there any other items I should know or look at, it appears to have power valves so I'll clean them like my sleds I presume.

on mine you hook up the garden hose and run the machine. It flushes out the system, not sure about the anti freeze thing.

Lenny,

you would run Antifreeze through the whole system to winterize it, makes things super easy versus draining all the hoses and pouring it in. the time savings would be huge

RV antifreeze is cheap, I have no problems pouring a couple of gallons down the hose, I winterize my malibu with 6 gallons and i know the guy who trained me said you can get by with two. Pour it until its pink, much cheaper than a motor.

I believe he is referring to lower end lube...not grease, which is exactly like the lower end lube you put in outboard motors sold at most auto parts stores and tractor supply, wally world.

This is probably a marine grade grease not your normal stuff used for the lawn tractor.
