Jetski Repair

I am wondering if there are any gear heads out there who might be able to fix or help me fix my jetski. A cylinder lost compression and needs to be replaced along with a few other parts. To have the dealership do it would break the bank. I could offer some monetary compensation or ideally share the jetski for the summer with some very luck individual once it is fixed as compensation.

Kawasaki Ultra 250x
Cylinder, piston, fuel injector, and some valves/smaller parts.

If you are mechanically capable at al this is some pretty easy stuff. The biggest thing is what caused the issue in the first place. Wow I just googled this machine, its a 4-stroke supercharged engine. Thats a little different than my XP. I still say go for it. I downloaded the repair manual online and I set up my laptop on the bench so I can check it while I'm working on it. They aren't that complicated to work on in all reality.

Do you know why it burned a piston? Or is there a bad valve?....

The dealership dismantled and examined it for me. They say it overheated probably because of a bad fuel/air mix caused by the injector. They suggest replacing the injector as well.
