i believe 450 or 460 is stock for the 700. not sure if carbs are the same but would think you would want a little bigger. riding elevation will probally affect as well, have you checked hot seats site or talked to a tech with them?

430's are STOCK for a 2001 600 from POLARIS.

That 430/450 sounds kinda LEAN to start with, I.M.O.

Ok if u think that is a little lean what do you think would be a little richer or would be ok to run? Maybe put 450s in and if it gets a little colder go a litle bigger? I appreciate the help

Changing jets is easier than rebuilding an engine.
I would start with the 50s and have a set bigger and smaller.
Get one of those pea lights that you can bend to check
the ""wash"".

450+ in warmer weather, leave some used plugs in it, as they seem a little easier to "read" I.M.O.

No, you got it backwards. You want a richer jet (higher #) when it's colder, and a leaner jet (lower #) when it's warmer.

450+ in warmer weather

470+ in colder weather

Read the plugs and piston wash, and make your own determination after that.

430's are stock and they are fat from the factory. I think 450 is gonna be too much. Personnaly I would start with the 430's. Again...the plugs/piston wash will tell you the story. Main jets are mainly for WOT. If your a little lean you won't burn down testing. Hold it wot for a couple hundred yards and check plugs. If too lean fatten them accordingly.
