Started in Winona MN about 10:30 AM went from clear roads to major 2" / hr in no time. Normal drive home is 45 min, took me 1 1/2 hr due to people going 20 MPG, passing was challenging.

White out like the above picture HERE North of Green Bay,..
"Finally" Suppose to have started at 10am,... didn't start until 1:30pm.
Now the weather comedians are downplaying their original OMG!!!'s
From "Up To 14 or more inches, Blizzard like and Thunder snow,.."
to 6 to 10 inches with "possible" lightning,....also possibility of rain or mist on
the "back side",....
Great.

By the looks of the NWS radar,... the big glob looks to be moving even FASTER
than I think THEY even anticipated,....
But hey,..
Ya never know.
It IS really coming down out there!
So YEAH! is the current status!
(at 2:36pm CST)

Still snowing 35 mile North of Lacrosse, but a real dense high moisture snow almost sleet, probably good for trails, but not a lot for accumulation. 6" total so far.

Couldn't have happened to a better place.

No idea where the system snow fell but not here in Phelps results were an average clipper powder snow. As I look out my window now it is snowing very hard... LES?... whatever... trails need lots of help in Vilas. Oh well...

Well, unfortunately for WD and me to the south of him, it went west. Weird thing is that some are reporting heavy wet and packy, and some saying powdery....?I suppose a few degrees can make a big diff.

Looks like 3 to 5" in NE WI.
