Not yet, planning on bringing it in soon but not to anxious to do it because we're losing more snow than we're gaining...
I'll post what the problem was when it gets fixed.

Check reeds & crank seals, both are plastic... Both will melt under high heat. Spray starting fluid around clutch side seal & mag side see if she starts. If you melted the rings to the piston that's in the neighborhood of 1400*

I'm gonna look into what you said, although I have no idea how to do it so could you help me out? How would I check the reeds and crank seals?

The reeds are located between carb & motor, just past the carb boots (inspect carb boots) The "reed cage" actually sits in the jug, pull them out & look where they make a seal (plastic on plastic) or (steel on plastic) The only crank seal you will be able to test is the pto (clutch) seal. Spray around the back of primary clutch, where the clutch attaches to the motor, that is were the seal is, if you can get it to at least sputter (with this method) chances are the other (mag side) is toast also. Or you can do a leakdown test, that would tell you for sure, to do this you must block all openings to the motor exhaust, intake & plug holes, add air into both cyl with a gauage on one cyl monitoring the (leakage) some models might require some special attachments. Good luck Where you at in minne?
