It's beginning to look promising for some good ole LES events here in the Keweenaw. There looks to be a chance for the Jake to get some isolated snows Thursday-Friday with a Northerly wind, we'll see. Broader LES events possible for the UP snowbelts with much colder temps accompanied by NW & Westerly winds (13th -15th) Sat, Sun & possibly Monday. That's about as far as I care to take that outlook. Snow totals? I'm not going to even guess, at this point anything is better than what we have now & we need at least a foot for the groomers to begin panning. First shout out for the season to Uncle LES, Aunty Arctic & last but not least, Heere Meester Bleezard!

Well, we got it, and now it doesn't want to stop. Received roughly 16 to 18" over the last 3 days, most of which has been courtesy of Uncle LES & Aunty Arctic. Currently a whopping 6 degrees with a windchill of -8. This looks to continue through Wednesday with additional snows of 10 to 12" between today & Wed. Temps not suppose to get any higher than the single digits to below zero through the end of the week.
