They are a great way to keep the mice out of your stuff. We have one that adopted us and she stays outside all the time and we haven't had mice in any of our stuff. Though she does "Share" sometimes and leaves us dead stuff by the door. She also hunts moles during the summer.

thanks for the complement though. I don't have a garage, just an old red barn which is dirty and drafty so I am tickled and proud to finally have this done.
The ceiling in this was flat, even with the low side and was rafters covered with chicken wire and straw. I did find a dead, really stiff cat skeleton with the skin turned to hard leather on top of it,(looked like a holloween prop). I tore out the wire and junk years ago and then just used it... now I love it!
At 6'-0 I could always walk in there without hitting my head but now I don't even have to duck with a helmet on, as I said, I love it!
