Klim Mid Layer Pants

Looking at a mid layer pant and wondered if anyone has compared the Inferno and Everest pants from Klim. Only $10 difference so that's not an issue, it sounds like the Everest is warmer, wonder if its bulkier too. On the other hand wonder if the Inferno will be warm enough for trail riding all day.

I have two pair of Everest pants and love them.

I have the inferno pants with the everest vest and I wear klimate outers and have never been cold trail riding.

I wear the inferno pants with the freeride pants. when real cold i'll wear a light weight pair of long johns.

I have the Inferno pant, wear Klim's long underwear with the Togwatee bibs. Went riding when -16 (without windchill) and was warm all day. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks everyone, funny I bought a couple helmets and goggles from Ecklund at the Milwaukee snow show should have looked at the pants then. Ended up ordering the Everest ones as I figured for it's only an extra $10, and they got PR1's endorsement so I couldn't go wrong . Got them from First Place Parts, no tax and free shipping. Already got a tracking number and should have them Wednesday.

mid layers are just like outer layer , you must get the next size bigger , their stuff seems to run on the smaller side of your size .

Not so true. I am an XL and wear L Everest pants. XL inferno tops. But the klim Yukon pullover I should of got the 2xl. Klim like hmk and others best if you can try on first. As a whole for their product line you are correct. Shade tree will let you swap out if things don't fit right. Firstplace Gladly exchanges also.

Just bought a pair of the Inferno pants from Thunder Motorsports in Superior. They were a little odd fitting, glad I went and tried them on instead of buying online. Medium fit in the legs real nice, but waist was too tight. The large waist fit well, but are baggy.

Definately recommend Thunder Motorsports though, didn't know they even existed until yesteday. Great selection of clothing and helmets for our area and I got a 10% discount for being a new customer.

Got them Wednesday and didn't get to try them on until last night. You're right, they are just a little baggy in the legs, and I could have used about another inch in the waist. Sticking with these as the next size would be too baggy and I'd be tightening up the straps on the waist. Guess I just need to drop 10-15 lbs and they should be great.

Rode this weekend with them and they were great. The baggy legs were perfect for sitting on the sled without feeling constrained, and they were really perfect for the temps. It was around zero all the time we rode and I was never even cool much less cold. Then when we stopped to eat I never felt too hot either. I'm very happy with them.

Realized after last weekend I'm getting older and after hearing about that side-hilling adventure I doubt I'd be able to chase Lenny around no matter what sled I was riding!
