Marty

I do not know you personally but have heard enough comments on here from other posters and have had a few discussions with you as well to know that you will succeed again whenever you decide to come back out of the woods with whatever you do.

Its a shame you had to change your screen name though, you are waaaay behind Indy now for # of posts.

I went through a buyout of sorts a few years back when they closed the dealer I worked at. I was lucky but a bunch of friends lost thier jobs as well. Since I am sure the satisfaction level that you have attained from other users on this site was the end result of teamwork I can only assume that they are top notch people as well and will eventually land on thier feet too.

Good luck to all.

OH MARTY! We will miss you SO MUCH over at KMS! I guess I'm gonna have to go over there and see what the new peeps have to offer.

YOU and the staff from KMS will be greatly missed - it's not just the products - it's the people who sell and service them. You and your team have always been wonderful to work with! I thank you all for all that you did to help Jim and I out with our sleds and gear!

It was a pleausre doing business with you! I wish you the BEST!

Maybe we'll see ya on the trails!

Marty I always enjoyed the posting interaction with you on JD. I thought we both kept it interesting & within rules. Nothing wrong with a good debate with someone who knew what they were talking about & pulled each others chain all in good fun regarding yellow & blue.:). Nothing you can do big money always rules & sometimes change is not good or bad just change. Good luck my friend. What brand will you be riding this winter? lol

That is one of the toughest parts of this deal, no more new demo units every three months, can’t remember the last time I rode something with more than 400 miles on it. I actually had to buy them as my last act; man these damn things are expensive…yes, I do have yellow blood, but I always have:
2010 Can Am Outlander 800 XT
2011 Ski Doo Backcountry X 800 E-Tec

45 minutes to go...

Yep my biggest problem with Yam right now. Great sleds but $15K MSRP just too much for 90day toy. OEMs have to make sleds more affordable or everyone will just keep the old iron running or buy used. Tuff on dealers to move new product.

Marty, We all wish you the best, the perks will be missed for sure. The long hours, stress ect. will not be missed. Your a sharp guy and will land something easily. You and Molly can come visit us, we can drag the boat to the Keys, sip some margaritas, drown some bait 10 miles out, and do a little diving. Life does not get much better than that. Well maybe, if you bring some snow. Best of luck. Mike and Luane

We were up two weeks ago with our ATV's for a week. Headin out towards Slate River Falls, Mt. Arvon, Big Bay etc, just cruisin down the trail, and I start to hear some god awful sounds coming outta the back end of my Honda 400 ex. Turns out that a bearing in the carrier basically grenaded, and gouged up the bearing race pretty bad on my $400 durablue axle. DOH!!! Long story short, I called Todd at KMS (HMS) told him my deal, and he took care of me. If it weren't for those guys helping me salvage what was left of my vacation, I woulda been just sitting in my hotel while everybody else rode the rest of the week. Unfortunately I had to order a new carrier, and a new axle to the tune of 500 plus dollars. Oh well, it's only money, right? Like they say, if you wanna play, you gotta pay! It showed up in two days, and I still salvaged two days of riding. Just wanted to say thanx to Todd, and everybody at HMS, you guys saved my butt!

Todd Lapage is the best wrench in Da Keewanaw. He will come in early or leave late to keep us on the trail. Know thats something to talk about.
