Wow, I just got done reading the journal and what a great thing Pat's and Kip and Trish did for Brody at the Ride In! What a perfect gift for a kid in the UP. :) Plus Kip was high bidder on the Arien's snow blower. Nice!

I never thought more money could be raised than last year, but it looks like it was done! I think it says a ton about the type of people that visit this website and kudos to all that participated in any way. I'm sure this is something Brody and his family will never forget! :)

Thanks Mark:) It was a pleasure to be a part of the event and everyone has been affected by cancer one way or another. I know it made my mom proud and it's something she would of done. It was tough to keep the emotions in and it made the whole crew here at Pat's feel great!! There's no better feeling than giving and we're blessed enough to be able to do it. Thanks to John Dee and all those who made it happen and we wish Brody the best. We will keep him and his family in our prayers:)

One more point that I don't think has been made, but I think it was one of Kips guys that was with and bid on an American Girl Doll item. Paid a lot for it, then donated it back to Brody's sisters. Really nice to see how so many people stepped up to make the event really special.

Actually Gary, that was a member of the board (freezinbevr) that did that, but an awesome thing to point out.

Yes that was great. The parents of Brody gave up as the bid got so high. He was embarrassed by the recognition and it was a awesome piece of generosity!

I am glad I finally got to meet Kip.

There is always so much good said about him and his business, I was thinking that maybe he is down there handing out Benjamins to folks to say all the nice things! Turns out he just is really that great of a guy!

Glad I got to meet you and your wife, Kip and thanks for all you did and do!

I too am also impressed with the generosity of Kip and Trish. I have been on the receiving end before from them and it is much appreciated. Makes me proud to ride a sled from Pat's. Its great to know people like that still exist in our crooked world.

Yeah, yeah. We found out the night before leaving for the trip one of our brothers was having his brain operated on to remove tumors the day we traveled up to South Range for the annual trip.

I am a survivor of cancer as well as John so this whole event has a special meaning especially when you are supporting a young child's dream to Disney!

On the doll, it felt like the right thing to do. Especially with those girls reminding me of my own a couple years older! I'd rather spoil Brody's sisters with the trials they and the whole family have been
Through so far, than spoil my girls with another doll. Like I said, it just felt right! Very happy to do it and would do it again in a heartbeat! Kip, your face was a red as mine!

As far as the bro? Stage 4 brain cancer and he's ready to fight it!!

Ride, ride, ride! Quit bit chin about dumb things and hug those you love every day!

Cancer sucks! Life rocks! Enjoy every frickin minute!!

Very nice move my man. I'm sure that family will never forget your awesome gesture. My youngest son is a survivor ,at 15. He was diagnosed with a tumor after getting the wind knocked out of him at wrestling practice. Turns out,it may have been growing since berth. He is good to go now. Who would have thought your kid going to the ER for a minor injury ,would turn into that. You don't get to choose the hand life deals you,you just have to play the hand the best you can. My other son has A very rare kidney disease. His main doctor charges 845$ a hour. He is the best doctor for him in all of the USA . We consider our selves lucky,he happens to be based down the road from us. We don't have to travel across country to get an appointment . Why am I telling you all of this? It's because I'm thankful my kids aren't on a make a wish list. Great job to all that made this event happen!
