Just had a fella stop off trail for picture of Kruppy. He just discovered he lost his wallet. Last he used it was at a station in Iron River and came directly to Twin Lakes. Did not stop anywhere between for any reason. If anyone should be on trails between Iron River & Twin Lakes, please watch for wallet.
If you find, please feel free to call Krupp's Resort 906-288-3404. We have his phone number. Please help keep this to the top for a few days.
-He left Iron River on Trail #2 until intersection of Trail #3 and came Trail #3 all the way to Twin Lakes

I am sure that he already has but just in case, he should call the station in Iron River to see if they have it. He may think that he lost it on the trail but he may very well have left it inside after paying or on top of the pump if he paid at the pump.

If you don't do it already, move your wallet to your front pocket. Riding and having it in your rear pocket can work it out and you won't know it. Unfortunately there are a bunch of people who will find it take the bread and toss the rest.

We were lucky on one occasion, mild temps, no snowsuit and a wallet went flying on two track. Guy who found it took it home and mailed it to the fella who lost it and I learned that you just can't leave it in your back pocket.

Years ago had friend' wife keeping their $450 in her jacket pocket loose. she didn't zip it up. Flying down Lake Gogebic to resort, it all came out. Was close to nightfall so couldn't look very long. Started next morning and found it all! About 2 miles spread out. Couldn't believe it ourselves since in was on the sled corridor and it had snowed some all night. Was a heck of a find.

I lost my wallet out of the back pocket once too. Luckily a family found it and I had a message on the anwering machine when I got home. One of the kids in the family spotted it and when I picked it up from there house gave them a twenty and told them to order a pizza for doing a good deed, never seen kids so excited over a pizza before. I was in college so it was half of my money, but to replace my student ID, and drivers license, and I think a pass for a couple differant labs, it would have been a pain and costly. I was very grateful and I think the kids were happy with a pizza. But boy was I lucky!

Yes, he did call gas station and he always put it in inside jacket pocket. His thought was that he missed his pocket. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

I went through this once. Really tore me with everything that was in it. I didn't care about the cash, would gladly give up the cash for the rest of the contents. I was very fortunate the person who found it called, and would not except anything in return. I surely hope this person is as fortunate as I was.

Thanks to everyone for helping keep this to the top for awhile. I just called Matt and wallet has not been found. He had to wait until he got home to get phone numbers & cc numbers to call credit card companies to see if any have been used. He will post on here if and when it's found. Told him we'll try to continue keeping this toward top yet-maybe someone found it and hasn't been on jdee yet. I'm not on any other snowmobile websites but if any of you are, could you please post this info on the other sites. Thanks, again. (Matt also said he appreciates everyone trying to help)

Great news on finding the wallet.

I used to ride with mine in the back pocket. A few years ago, I found my wallet sitting tucked into the lower gaiter on my bibs at a gas stop. I did get pretty lucky. That was the last time riding with the wallet in the back pocket. It is still part of my pre-trip inspection to make sure I have moved the wallet.
