I don't know if the higher lake temps carried on into the winter months but it sure was a banner year for snow up there. I would have suspected good early snow if there was any truth to the lake temp argument though. My west Michigan riding was minimal this year as the les was almost nill off the sable points. I had to chase snow farther north this year for sure.
