Lake Namakagon Area

Staying in this area the day after Christmas, was curious how trails are and if there is anything to look out for, like wet areas or trail closures. Also if anyone knows when the lake will be marked. Any info on this area would be great, Thanks!

We will be at the Lakewoods fri sometime, I wouldnt bank on the lakes being 100% marked, not great ice yet and not cold this week...plan accordingly

We are at Lakewoods right now and the conditions are great. Lake is not marked and probably won't be soon but plenty of riding to be had still. I was told swamp on trail 90 between 80 and 85 is not froze yet so to take 80 south to where it meets back up with 85 and take that north back to 90.

I'm just South of this area now and the trails seem to be holding up pretty good with the warmer temps. I think the trails will be fine all week but the lakes will be slushy until we see temps 10 degrees cooler at least.

15 from Grand View very good, over to 75 and down to 70 was good. 8 east to 85/80 was okay fine and at the end of the day 15 from Pioneer Bar back to Grand view washolding up. 63 south to Drummond was okay, some of the roadside riding getting thin. All in all very good December ride.

Anybody have any updates from today? I know they got some rain Sat and snow yesterday, but are they grooming? I realize the lakes are not staked, but how much water is on the trails now? Thanks for any help!
