Lake Nokomis

Lake Nokomis is marked and we had a nice ride from the cabin last night. We hopped on the lake just East of Nokomis Pub rode to Boomba with nice ice conditions stopped in for a great fish fry. Than we took 51A to Prairie Rapids nice and smooth trails it was a bit cold so we stopped to see Tim and Michelle. Hit trail back to Nokomis with a stop at Dan and Mel’s we found the trails very nice for early season riding.

Glad you are on a first name basis with your bar owners but nobody else knows where you're talking about.

It's a nice area but I don't memorize the names of all the bars. I assume Tim and Michelle are at a place called Prairie Rapids? And Dan and Mel's is the name of a bar? Tried to eat at Boomba's twice in the past but it was late and kitchen was closed. Place looked dark and depressing. Whatever that "Bob's" place is has good food and the Sunday breakfast buffet is killer.

Boomba's is great. Owner is super nice guy and makes an excellent Bloody Mary. Friday night fish fry is excellent also. One of the staples we always stop at when riding the Tomahawk area.
