Hey John! Just wondering if you heard anything lately about the ice coverage on the big lake. Heard it is starting to freeze in more locations. You worried at all? What's your take? Thanks!

There's been a lot of cloud cover lately, but looking at things this afternoon as the clouds move north and the lake becomes visible, it looks to still be mostly open, with ice at the far west end around Duluth. There also looks to be quite a bit of pack ice from the tip of the Keweenaw, all the way to Big Bay.
