Was in Lando this w/e to help a bit on the trails and get some other work done at my barn. I do have to say it is amazing how some "old-timers" just keep on putting their time in to get the trails in. I'm 43 and was the youngest out of the group of 4 and they were my seniors by 15 to almost 30 years, just amazing. My hat goes off to all the "old-timers" that keep this sport going.
I did learn there is a new restaurant at the stateline, 1938 North, which is a spinoff from the Gateway and should have better hours than the restaurant in Gateway. Was there for breakfast Friday and it was pretty good. It is in the same building as the gas station (BP?) across from the Doo dealer.
Another thing to be added will be a Subway also in the stateline in conjunction with the gas station/mini-mart, so it will be good for people staying in and also cruising thru Lando on their way to the UP as it is right next to Hwy 45. Not sure of the completion date on this one.
