As of now all back roads in Baraga and Marquette Counties are open with the exception of a few townships and the Cities of Marquettte, Negaunee, and Ishpeming. There are routes posted on the MIDNR website. From L'Anse you can take a few routes out of town to get to the AAA road which is the snowmobile trail to Big Bay. Dynamite Hill Road, Herman Road, If you want to trailer a bit out of town you can go to Big Erik's bridge and ride from there. Just remember to look up the county ordinances before your ride, and stay off of private property. You cannot use a snow trail map as a lot of those trails are on lease for the winter. Also look for local clubs that will have trails listed that are not on the DNR maps.
