Thanx for reply , leaving friday - - - Updated - - - Have you rode out there Willey?

Haven't rode lava but I have stayed at togwotee. Lava is located close to the pass which allows you to ride a pretty vast area. Have fun!

To put it simple, Lava is on the east side of the CD. Tog. is on the west side. Easier to sleep at Lava for us flat landers.

przes1,

We stayed at Lava Mtn a couple of years ago in one of the “vacation homes” (mobile homes). These units were actually pretty nice. There were only two of us so it worked well, although I drew the loft with the 4’ ceiling for sleeping. Crawling to my bed on all fours gave me flashbacks of my harder living years.</SPAN>

Most days we trailered up to one of the parking areas rather than ride out of the lodge. Unless we purposely decided to ride the trails it was a lot quicker way to get to the snow. Quite a few parking areas along the road and good meadow riding is just seconds from some of the lots.</SPAN>

Agree with willey, there are huge areas to ride. You’ll have fun.</SPAN></SPAN>

We are headed to Togwotee in 3 weeks! It takes us 20-22 hours from Brookfield, WI with 5 fuel stops. We usually leave around 7 PM and are checked in in time to head down to happy hour at 4:30. You should be about 30 minutes shorter than Togwotee. Looks like they are still getting fresh!!!

I90 to Rapid City, SD then south to I25 in Casper and 2 lane across Wyoming.

blow/meth or youth?

Last year coming home from Tog I drove straight through, 21 hours. No meth, no blow, couldn't tell ya what any of that looks like, no pot, no beer, no booze, no coffee, just some mt dew, and two energy drinks. I am 46, 45 last year, so youth is not it either. not everybody relies on drugs to get through life ya know. :)

4 drivers in the truck, quick fuel stops (the secret is having a plan before you stop or else everyone piles out of the truck like a zombie), and lots of energy drinks and coffee. Only go 5 over the speed limit max - when I'm awake anyway. We have one guy that likes to punch it so his share of driving is shorter... Weather obviously makes a difference though.

The drive out is usually well documented on our twitter feed (if you want to stay up all night and follow us :) twitter.com/teamkesslers Gotta find something to do so we take pictures that all look the same of big endless fields...
