Well I did order one from sears (Jan 2)as I wanted to use my 0% for 12 months..I was told it would arrive Jan 21st. Late that day I went to check on it and they said it should be here, but they can't find the order now...I was WILD and got a refund on my card.

I'm driving to Green Bay this a.m. to buy a TV..

Bot a 52" sony bravia LCD 1080p 120hz and so on.. It also has a cool sensor where it shuts off if it doesn't detect any motion for 30 minutes, and you can hit a button to have zero power draw, when shut off, even if plugged in..so the days of snoring watching tv might be limited to 29.9 minutes a time..

They had an in store sale and thru in a Blu Ray DVD player...I'm now in the market for a tv stand and walmart.com might have it..

m8man, Nice set up! You'll love it. I bought a Samsung 40 inch a few weeks back and finally mounted it over the fireplace. I watched X-Games snowmobile freestlye last night and it was awesome.

Well went and broke the bank today! Samsung 55" Led tv and a blue ray player. Can't wait until Wednesday delivery. Stopped at Best Buy the other day and tv was $2199, $300 less than their advertised sale price in their flyer. A lot of money but at least I can use every day UNLIKE my sled lately.

So now I have to decide Direct tv or maybe Att-uverse. Anybody have experience with At&t u-verse?

I'am also wondering if anybodies interested in my old 35' Sony Trinatron for their game room or maybe cabin. Contact me by Tuesday otherwise it's off to the recycler.

Was in Best Buy this weekend so i went over and checked the price of my tv and it was a $100 cheaper than i payed so I went home and got my receipt and received a price match. Sweet extra $100 in my pocket!

So for anybody that bought a tv in last 30 days check the price again it may be worth it.

If I'm going to hook up a PS3 to a new Samsung LCD TV, which cables off of monoprice.com do I need?

Also, I would need 1 HDMI cable (from the PS3 to the TV) and 1 HDMI cable (from the PS3 to the sound system) is that correct?

I am a satellite technician, I'm not sure what outputs you have on the PS3, but think I can help you.

A hdmi cable to the tv will bring a high definition picture and digital sound to that hdmi input on the tv.

A hdmi cable to the sound system will bring a high def picture and digital sound to that video input on the sound system.

You could also run an hdmi cable to the tv, and a red/white RCA cable or a digital audio cable to the stereo. This would bring picture and sound to your tv, and sound to your stereo. By doing it this way the input you use on the tv would remain constant and you could elect to or not to have the sound system on as well as the volume on the tv on or off.

Another option would be to just run 1 hdmi cable to the sound system. Doing this would mean that you need to use the sound system to uses the PS3.

By hooking it up the way your suggesting you would be switching back and fourth between 2 different inputs on the tv, the one from the sound system or the one without the sound system.

Does that make sense?

Cardinal43, you could also run a HDMI to the TV and an Optical Cable from the PS3 to your sound system, and this would give you Dolby 5.1 just make sure your sound system has a optical input.
