the leaves are already changing here in northern il, how is going in the up? we have a atv trip the last weekend of this month, think they will be at peak?
I just got back from my place in the Twin Lakes, MI area, and things are definitely moving along there, but also noted color changes all the way back home in the NWL. Locals are saying that should be peak timeframe.........I'm up there with my folks the 1st week of October, and it's peak or beyond in the high terrain the last 6 years running.
was in the woods today in the keweenaw and things look a little more colorful then last time i was out about 5 days ago i think this dry stretch got to them 3 weeks without rain. but overall the colors are probably at 20-25 percent changed with peak colors in 2 weeks or so.
