Leaving Chicago tonight - Where do we go?!?

Argh, we are supposed to leave in a couple hours for some trail riding. We were planning on going to Niles, MI but 1) I don't think the trails are holding up and 2) the storm will start out mostly as rain all day tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the trails are open in Wiscosin around Portage, or Madison? If this storm pans out, the trails could get a dumping tonight into tomorrow morning, right?

Need some input from some fellow snow fans!! Thank you!

UP is wide open and I think J D has them in for a little bit of snow this weekend.
Just jump in the ole truck and drive.
Swing by the QCities and pick me up too!

* total snow accumulations of 10 to 17 inches are expected by
sunday evening with the heaviest snow falling saturday and
saturday night. The greatest snow accumulations will occur over
the higher terrain from ironwood and wakefield to white pine and
mass city.
