The owners manual for a 600 HO Fusion says to lube the driveshaft bearing with lithium grease. I have CRC marine lithium grease for the gimbal bearing on my boat. The marine lithium grease should work, right?
From what I can tell, the only difference between "all-purpose" and "marine" grease is the water stabilizing additives in the marine grease.
It's not a big deal to get some all-purpose grease. I just don't feel like having another grease gun laying around that I'll only use on one bearing once a year.
