Not a bad way to load unload sled into pickup alone. Looks way easy to build

snow banks are cheaper Maybe nice to have for broken down sled. Just having that crank mounted to that part of the bed. Would like to see a protective place between cab window and the crank...

Around here alot of times enough snow to ride, but banks not enough to load sleds.
I agree about crank protection, I would mount in bed low enough not to hit window. Actually in box.
We're not blessed with 100+ inches a year
