Looking for a clutch handbook or reference guide to tune my engagement RPM and top end on my ZRT600. When I bought the machine several years ago it came with and after market clutch kit that engages at a fairly high RPM (approx 5k). I'm now handing down the machine to my younger son and I'd like to scale back a bit on the performance. Is there a clutching guide or website out there that will list the various combinations of weights, springs, helix etc...?

Aaen Oerformance has a book called "Clutch Tuning Handbook". Very helpful for the beginner, when trying different ideas. 262-552-8981.

most guys were running notched weights in the old triples so they would hold till 5000rpm or so look at the weight and see if it has a notch dimple u shape notch on the arm if so just swap out notched weight with non notched weight of same weight and you will have the smooth engagement you are looking for
